Enumerations are used to restrict the values of a string property to a limited set of valid values. Enumeration values represent the set of limited values and are defined in transaction /PACG/ECM_ENUMV in field Enumeration ID.
Please refer to the below example where 3 enumeration values: assignment, conversation and meeting are assigned to Enumeration type Activity_type:
