You can use notifications to process all types of information or problems that might be encountered in the business processes of your company. Among other things, you can use notifications to carry out the following activities:

  • Process complaints
  • Process maintenance requirements
  • Document malfunctions or exceptional situations in your company
  • Process inquiries or problems in the IT area (for example, when using the SAP System)
  • Process inquiries by or needs of individual employees over the Intranet

DBM VSS notifications are based on the SAP standard notification.
You can create notifications from the transactions Create Order (/DBMDBE/ORDER01) and Change Order (/DBMDBE/ORDER02). The notifications are assigned to the DBM VSS order.
You can create notifications from the vehicle master, the customer master, and transaction Order Processing (/DBMDBE/ORDER). In these cases, the notification is not assigned to a DBM VSS order.
In DBMVSS, there are three notification types:

  • D1 S Sales Activity
  • D2 C Complaint
  • D3 D Vehicle Damage Report (only used for the trade-in process)
