Workflow steps is a functionality in FSM which allows to assign an activity to a specific checkpoint or milestone of the execution process/ workflow. It provides an additional information about stage of activity and allows to standardize processes and improve communication between back-office and field technicians..
Available steps can be configured in Admin panel in Service workflows tab:
Workflow step assignment can be performed only in the mobile or desktop app:
Workflow step assignment can be viewed also on the web app as well as in the FSM activity transaction in SAP.

Please note that activity workflow steps changes are saved in SAP in table /PACG/ECM_CACWF. |
On the other hand, workflow steps can be also automatically set based on service order status as a result of customizing maintained in /PACG/ECM_SASA.
