Since the 2108 release there is a possibility of having multiple activities linked to one service order operation. Such configuration allows multiple technicians to work on a single case represented by an operation during different times. The functionality can be switched on in /PACG/ECM_SCTD VSCTD by checking new field Use ReqAssign.

Please note that there are some rules and limitations related to usage of ‘Requirements assignments’ tab in service order:

Inbound processing

|
If option ‘Use req. ass.’ is enabled in transaction /PACG/ECM_SCTD, activity assignment in FSM will result in adding a new requirement assignment tab to the related operation. The ‘person no.’ field in the operation’s internal tab will remain empty.
If a new activity is created and option ‘No new operation’ is enabled in transaction /PACG/ECM_SCTD, a new req. assignment entry will be created in the first relevant operation – with an FSM-relevant control key (/PACG/ECM_CKDET - Control key determination) and whose work center is not excluded in transaction /PACG/ECM_ SCTD_WCE - Service call type work center exclusion. If the option is disabled, a new operation with one req. assignment entry will be created.
Duplicating an activity in FSM will result in adding an additional requirement assignment entry.
If no requirement assignment entry exists, activity’s start and end dates are taken from operation’s constraints or, if constraints are empty, regulated by option ‘Assign. dat/tim’ in transaction /PACG/ECM_SCTD. If req. assignment entries exist, the requirements’ dates are used for activity’s start and end dates.
