Non service-related work time can be booked using the Work Time tab in the FSM mobile app.
Work time task definitions and time frames are customized in transaction /PACG/ECM_VWRKTC - Work Time Task Definition.
While trying to create a new time frame for a given work time task in /PACG/ECM_VWRKTC - Work Time Task Definition, the user is obliged to fill the actual start and actual finish time fields. If the fields are left empty, an error message is displayed.
As a form of additional validation, logs communicate the lack of actual start/finish values and a CAT entry is not posted.
Process
1.Ensure proper Time Frames customizing in transaction /PACG/ECM_VWRKTC - Work Time Task Definition for a given company and a work time task.
2. Create a new work time task in the mobile app.
3. After refreshing, an idoc of type /PACG/ECM_ITYPE_WORKTIMEIN is sent to SAP (2-hour difference, see the TIMEZONEID field).
4. If the ‘CATS active’ field is set in transaction /PACG/ECM_CTET - Time Effort Type, an entry should be created in the Time Sheet.
Navigate to transaction CAT3 and enter a proper personnel number, YE4C data entry profile and date.
