Material statuses can be managed in transaction /pacg/ecm_istat which is placed in Item folder. The customize allows set up 2 kind material statuses per company:
Cross-Plant material status, Plant-Specific Material Status
Cross-distribution-chain material status, Distribution-chain-specific material status
Each of material status can be mapping to FSM. Status can be send with item from transaction /pacg/ecm_itemsend. There are few options:
Active - send ‘Active’ status to FSM. Status is not visible in idoc because that is the default value
Inactive - in outbound idoc /PACG/ECM_ITYPE_ITEM in segment /PACG/ECM_IS_CONTROL is placed field ‘Inactive’ which inform about that status. Only when material has active status this information appears.
No send - item with selected status can’t be send to FSM. The log will inform about this action:
Soft delete - allows to completely remove status from fsm which was previously sent. Information is contained in outgoing idoc:
