This setting determines which equipment, based on its category, can be sent to a given FSM company. The equipment “category” field in FSM master data is hard-coded, by default each equipment would be displayed with category “Equipment” and functional location with category “Functional location”. If this does not work, please check the points below:

  • make sure that field ‘Category’ is added to screen Equipment Details MDM in FSM Admin screen configuration

  • make sure that transformation for message type /PACG/ECM_EQUI in /PACG/ECM_CLSASSIG - FSM Connector's Outgoing Messages Configuration is set to /PACG/ECM_OUT_EQUIPMENT_1.XSLT. This transformation is the default one for all FSM Cloud Connector versions since add-on 200 SP02

Restrict equipment transfer only to equipment with one of the entered categories. Equipment category is indicated in transaction IE03.

Is Tool

Any equipment type flagged as 'Is Tool' will be sent to SAP FSM as a tool of the type 'equipment'.

Tools of the type equipment are displayed via the Master Data view in SAP FSM WFM. The tool equipment records are grouped under the tool material which they are based upon, meaning that the material code used in the 'SerData' of the equipment must be that of a tool material master record.

If required, equipment type tools can have user defined fields and attachments.
