The posting is divided into two:

  • the start date of the first one corresponds to the start date of the reported time effort/work time

  • the end date of the second one corresponds to the end date of the reported time effort/work time

  • the break is reflected as a gap between these entries.

A break is indicated by decreased Actual Work value for one of the confirmations (splits).

One of the CATS entries (splits) is divided into two:

  • the start date of the first one corresponds to the start date of the reported time effort/work time

  • the end date of the second one corresponds to the end date of the reported time effort/work time

  • the break is reflected as a gap between these entries.

Determination of the relevant split for break inclusion follows the rules below:

Time effort 08:00-19:00, initially 2 splits would be created, however we have a 1-hour break, therefore expect 3.

Based on the customizing below, the break should start after the 2nd hour of time effort's duration:

It would be 10:00-11:00, therefore exceeds the frame of the 1st split. In such a case both splits are split into 2, each of them includes half of the break, like below:

  • 2. if neither of the above is maintained, the break is applied to the first split
