/PACG/ECM_NOAS - No Object Assignment

Objects which are not plant/sales area/company code/purchasing organization/personnel area-dependent, are called ‘no object’-dependent. This means that they’re dependent only on assignment to an FSM company - either the object is relevant for the E4C company or not. Such objects are assigned to ‘No object’ in transaction https://proaxia-prod-doc.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PFCC/pages/31952548.

‘No object’-dependent objects must be assigned to relevant FSM companies in transaction https://proaxia-prod-doc.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PFCC/pages/31952609, otherwise it won’t be possible to send them to FSM.

(S4)PACG 200 SP08 Automatic assignment generation

Use the button ‘Automatic assignment generation’ to automatically generate ‘no object’-assignment entries for a given company:

After clicking ‘Execute’, you can select which objects are relevant for your company:

To skip the selection screen and generate entries for all possible objects, tick the ‘Skip selection' checkbox and execute:

‘All possible objects’ means FSM objects which can be only ‘No object’-dependent. See subchapter https://proaxia-prod-doc.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PFCC/pages/31952609/PACG+ECM+NOAS+-+No+Object+Assignment#Objects-which-support-no-object-assignment or transaction for reference. Objects which support multiple assignment options will be excluded (subchapter ).

When using this functionality with (S4)PACG 200 SP08 or (S4)PACG 200 SP09, new entries won’t be automatically added to a customizing request. Please make sure to add them manually via Table View → Transport → Include in request. This logic gap was corrected in (S4)PACG 200 SP10.

(S4)PACG 200 SP08 Copy to another company

Easily copy no object assignment entries from one company to another using the ‘Copy to another company’ button:

When using this functionality with (S4)PACG 200 SP08 or (S4)PACG 200 SP09, new entries won’t be automatically added to a customizing request. Please make sure to add them manually via Table View → Transport → Include in request. This logic gap was corrected in (S4)PACG 200 SP10.
