BDS storage format
Inbound attachments can be stored using the Business Document Service (BDS). Additional storage solutions such as Document Management System (DMS) remain available. Attachments stored using BDS are displayed as 'Archived documents'.
In order to enable BDS within FSM Cloud Connector the document type must be defined and assigned to document class in transaction OAC2. Then in transaction OAC3 the BDS document type must be linked with SAP Business Object and the content repository. The last step is transaction /PACG/ECM_ARCH – containing a link created between company id and pair Business Object and BDS Document type used in transaction OAC3. IN/OUT switch indicates a given attachment should be stored when received from FSM or only sent.
