Workshop Information Display System

Workshop information Display System (WIDS) is a display screen for the workshop lounge and managers to track the workshop pipeline.
Customers can view the status of their orders and manager can review obstruction areas, KPIs and turnaround time.
Prerequisites
User role /DBE/WIDS is assigned to the user account.
Application statuses, status mapping and translations are defined properly under Vehicle Sales and Service > Communication Framework > Tasks > External Applications as explained in the configuration guide.
Web service is created and activated using transaction SICF and service path is derived as explained in the configuration guide.
Business Scenarios, View Types, Screens and Screen flows are configured properly under Vehicle Sales and Service > Dashboards > Workshop Information Display System as per the configuration guide.
Define Warning and Caution Threshold (/DBE/DAWI_TATC_LC - Define caution/warning thresholds).
Define aging exclusion and shift time (/DBE/DAWI_EXAG_LC - Define ageing excl. and shift time).
Process
Click on the service URL path generated from transaction SICF considering the screen flow for manager view or customer view.
Enter user credentials and click on Sign In
Review orders listed by the license plate under different status brackets.
If status translations in different languages is configured statuses are appearing in different languages.
Promotions and advertisements are shown in the configured sequence
In manager view KPIs and turnaround times are shown in the dashboard.
