Work Time objects (represented by Absences on the Planning&Dispatching Board) can be deleted or updated in SAP FSM. These actions are reflected in SAP ECC/S4.

Work Time deletion

Update not allowed

During processing of a work time with deletion indicator, the setting ‘Upd Rel Docs’ in transaction /PACG/ECM_CTET - Time posting settings is checked. When not enabled, the idoc gets status 51 and a special log with key of the related document.

Update allowed

If the setting ‘Upd Rel Docs’ is enabled, the action depends on the type of the related SAP document:

  • CATS entries created based on this work time are set to status 60 (cancelled)

  • Confirmations are reverted

  • The direct act. allocation document is reversed

Work Time update

If changes between the new and original work time are identified (this includes work time task, asignee, start/finish date and time, break), FSM Cloud Connector can communicate the changes in idoc logs, suggesting manual corrections or automatically affect the related documents.

Differences identified and update allowed

If differences are identified and the setting ‘Upd Rel Docs’ is enabled in transaction /PACG/ECM_CTET - Time posting settings, the related CATS/order confirmation/activity allocation documents will be affected.

  • CATS entries created based on this work time are set to status 60 (cancelled), then new ones are created, using the new properties

  • Confirmations are reverted, then new ones are created, using the new properties

  • The direct act. allocation documents are reversed, then a new one is posted

Differences identified but update not allowed

If differences are identified and the setting ‘Upd Rel Docs’ is disabled, no SAP document is modified. The idoc gets status 51 and its log contains information about differences:

  • No labels
