Business context
When spare parts are to be delivered to the technician address a functionality of technician consignment is used. To determine the right address data for outbound delivery processing, each technician must be represented by a Business Partner record with customer role (FLCU01).
Usage
To facilitate delivery of spare parts of technician consignment of an assigned job, each technician personnel number must be linked to an associated business partner (created with a customer role FCLU01). Delivery processing requires a ship-to party which is represented by a customer master record. Scenarios where technician plays double role – technician and an actual customer to whom services are sold are not supported.

In BP, each technician is created with a business partner (as customer) with a customer number.
In transaction “/DBE/FSM_PERS - Technician Data” the link between Business Partner and employee number is established.
