The initial and full-sync process performance can be significantly improved. To achieve this, enable parallel upload flow of the SAP FSM Transporter component by increasing the number of allowed upload batches.

Click to read more about the SAP FSM Transporter component

The transporter component is responsible for connecting SAP FSM with ERP connectors such as the FSM Cloud Connector. The Transporter has the following functionalities:

  • Download new/changed/deleted objects from SAP FSM

  • Upload of ERP new/changed/deleted objects to SAP FSM

  • Upload of logs

  • Upload of system information to SAP FSM

  • Download of metadata from SAP FSM

  • Support for "request objects" - objects that are not persisted in the SAP system, but calculated and then uploaded back to SAP FSM (e.g. prices for a Sales Order)

How to enable the parallel mode for initial-/full-sync

  • Ensure that the company setting ‘TransporterSettings.MaxParallelUploadBatches’ has value higher than 1.

0 - the upload is stopped (on hold)

1 - the parallel upload is disabled, the batches are uploaded sequentially (default value)

n - the maximum parallel upload batches is n

  • The FSM Cloud Connector add-on version 200, with the latest transporter.
