Supporting Persons is functionality in FSM that allows to specify technicians that support the person responsible for activity handling.

It is important to note that there can be more than one supporting person for specific activity, which means that multiple values can be assigned as a supporting person at the same time.

Supporting persons can be added for unreleased activity in FSM by using Add supporting technicians option:

The data exchange for the supporting persons has been extended.

After releasing the activity, the supporting persons information is send to SAP and saved in the database in the new table . In the future the supporting person functionality might be added to E4C Activity transactions: /PACG/ECM_ACTI_VC01, /PACG/ECM_ACTI_VC02 and /PACG/ECM_ACTI_VC013.

Inbound IDoc structure /PACG/ECM_ITYPE_ACTIVITY_IN was extended by creating a new segments /PACG/ECM_IS_SUPPORT_PERS within parent segment /PACG/ECM_IS_ACTIVITY. The new segment consist of only one field: Supporting Pers. It is not mandatory and the maximum number is not limited.

The additional segments are created for each supporting person:

Similarly, outbound IDoc structure /PACG/ECM_ITYPE_ACTIVITY_OUT   was extended by creating a new segments /PACG/ECM_IS_SUPPORT_PERS within parent segment /PACG/ECM_IS_ACTIVITY.
