A reusable text that can be assigned to and printed out with documents.
Use
In order processing, you use this object to link a text to documents. Standard texts serve as advertising texts or order texts for customer-specific notes and information on documents. You can access the standard text directly from the area menu or from within a DBM order.
Structure
You can create, change and delete standard (long) texts centrally. In an order, you can use standard (long) texts at header, job, item and split level, or save a standard (long) text so that you can print it as a document attachment.
You can assign standard (long) texts to text catalogs. The standard system finds the valid text catalogs for the order by using the plant and the order type. You can change this assignment in Customizing for Dealer Business Management (DBM) under Text Control.
