The following settings are referring to DSW standard configuration. It must be executed in the DSW environment: 

General Settings

 

1. Introduction

The standard set-up / configuration of the DSW and the integration to VSS resides in a reference DB, that is used as the basis of creating a new DB, in a new environment

The database that will be used as a reference for all the upcoming projects, will be the Proaxia UAT.

2. Reference DB Contents

The standard tables that exist in a reference DB and are synced to every new Project DB are:

  1. @IDMS_S_Setup (It is a table holding all set-up keys used by the system)

  2. @IDMS_OPTIONFIELD

  3. @IDMS_MODULECONFIG

  4. All the datatables that are related to Workflow:

a. @IDMS_WF_STAGE

b. @IDMS_WF_STAGEGROUP

c. @IDMS_WF_STATE

d. @IDMS_WF_STATTRIBUTE

e. @IDMS_WF_TRANSITION

f. @IDMS_WF_UIACTGROUP

g. @IDMS_WF_WFTYPE

h. @IDMS_WF_APPROVALTYP

i. @IDMS_WF_EXTFUNCTION

5. All the datatables that are related to Activities:

a. @IDMS_WF_ACTIVITY

b. @IDMS_WF_ACTTYPE

c. @IDMS_WF_ACT_GROUP

d. @IDMS_S_ACTTYPEGROUP

Furthermore 1 Common Database is also created for each environment and contains the following datatables:

  1. ROLE

  2. ROLEGROUP

  3. BUSINESSCASE

  4. BUSINESSCASEROLE

After the completion of the database sync process, a clean - up is performed to the datatables that contain “Master” data (such as Business Partners and Vehicles) and to the datatables that contain “Transaction” data (such as Leads and Opportunities).

When the clean – up of the “Master” and “Transaction” data is completed, then the configuration of the Project Database can be initiated.

3. Configuration of the Project DB

The configuration must be done with a user that has system administrator rights and should be performed with the following order:

Creation of the Company structure:

a. Companies

b. Branches

c. Locations

d. Teams

e. Groups

f. Users

g. User Groups

h. User Logins

i. User Teams

j. Role

k. Business Case

4. Notifications / Printed Documents

This section contains a full guide of how to create new email templates for a customer, prepare them as notifications, configure these notifications and link them with the respective workflow.

In the following link, you will find a full guide that contains information on how to locate the email server that is linked with each project and what is needed to login in this email server. Also, it contains all the necessary information and explanations that are required for all the procedures to create your email templates and finally, a guide of how to link the email templates with the respective workflows inside your OneDealer project.

Additionally, AD-Hoc Emails are available to be send to a Business Partner through the Sales Process. Guide line of the necessary configuration can be found in the link below:
