You can use the VSS extractors to transfer transaction data and master data from VSS to SAP Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW). You can analyze the VSS data in SAP BW for business information that can help you optimize your business processes, and save costs or increase profitability.
You can transfer data from the following VSS areas:

To install the extractors, you use transactions rsa9 (transfer component hierarchy) and rsa5 (install business content datasources). To use the extractors for VSS, make the appropriate settings in Customizing for Vehicle Sales and Service under Information System.
The extractors with the prefix 2LIS_DM* are integrated into the Logistics Customizing Cockpit (transaction LBWE). To use the 2LIS_DM* extractors, make the following settings:
- Generate the VSS order extraction structures in Customizing for Vehicle Sales and Service under Information System > Order > Generate VSS Order Extraction Structures.
- You use the Logistics Extraction Structures Customizing Cockpit (transaction LBWE) to transfer data to the BI system.
You can transfer previously created orders and archived orders to the BI system. To do this, make the appropriate settings in customizing for Vehicle Sales and Service under Information System > Order > Perform setup - VSS Order.
