Attachment deletion in SAP ECC/S4

GOS/BDS
GOS and BDS attachments deleted in SAP will be deleted from SAP FSM as well. This is done using idoc of type /PACG/ECM_ITYPE_OPERATION.

Note that if the functionality of inheriting attachments of service calls/notifications by activities is used, the inherited attachments will not be removed after attachment deletion in SAP (only the attachments of the main objects, e.g. service calls).

Deletion of DMS object link, file or the entire document will result in sending a deletion request to SAP FSM for the affected objectsโ attachments.
