  1. Unallocated appointments can be drag and dropped to the required technician. The colour coding (displayed in green slots) signifies resource availability. This function also ensures that the right demand is allocated to right resource.

  1. Once allocated the availability of the resource is recalculated based on the planned duration of the demand. The message (bottom left) confirms the success or failure of allocation.

Reallocation of ‘Time-Based’ Appointments in Dispatch Monitor:

The process below depicts the use of ‘Dispatch Monitor’ for reallocation of demand to another resource arising out of Time Based planning for efficient set up of a workshop considering the total capacities.

Please note that the initial allocation for time based appointments is done using Workshop planner (not shown in process steps below)

  1. Access the ‘Dispatch Monitor’ application

  2. Application settings below can be considered for usability.

    1. Select the desired workshop hierarchy using the icon below highlighted (found on the top right corner)

  1. Time-Based appointments which are already allocated to the resource can be reallocated e.g. technician not available due to illness or unplanned leave. Using the drag and drop function.

a. After reallocation, the availability of the resources is recalculated to reflect the current state based on the planned duration of the demand.

Changing priorities

 

  1. Priorities can only be changed for allocated demands

  2. Right click on a allocation to open the context menu, select “Change priority”
