Reminder

Define a general reminder notifying the user in mobile before activity start. It was supported by iOS at time of press.

Calculate reminder datetime for activities. The purpose of the reminder is to notify technicians/mobile app users before activity start.

Possible options include, among others:

  • No reminder – do not calculate a reminder

  • 0 minutes – the reminder’s datetime is equal to the activity’s start datetime

  • X minutes – the reminder’s datetime is X minutes earlier than the activity’s start datetime

It’s been observed that the reminder might not automatically trigger any notification on the mobile app. It might be necessary to use a business rule to trigger notification or email reminder based on the date calculated in SAP ECC/S4.
