4.3 BP Groups

Any Business Partner can be assigned to a specific BP Group, and therefore inherit the sales incentives assigned to the BP Group. 

Create a BP Group

The creation of a new BP Group is possible through:

  1. Navigation Bar- plus sign
  2. BP Groups Grid List (../BusinessPartner/BusinessPartnerGroupGridList)

When choosing to Add a new group, the user has to fill-out the required fields in the pop-up form. While creating the new BP group, it is possible to add in this group existing Business Partners. 


How to edit a Sales Incentive and add a group

The user through the Menu button () from the top left corner can search for the Sales Incentives Admin page, or directly type in the browser next to the basic URL the following: (/SetupEntities/SalesIncentivesGridList).

The BP group can be added in a Sales Incentive by editing a selected sales incentive. 


BP Groups grid list

The BP Groups grid (/BusinessPartner/BusinessPartnerGroupGridList) list shows all the available groups and specific information related to the groups: 

  • BP Group Type
  • Included Business Partners
  • Main Company Name (Represents a BP that you choose to be the main for this Group)
  • Total Revenue
  • Number of Vehicles (Represents the amount of vehicles that business partner of the group are associated with) 
  • Last Sales Activity (Represent the latest sales activity of one of the BP of the group)
  • Last Workshop Activity (Represent the latest closing time from Job card of one of the BP of the group)

The BP Group page is consisted of the following tabs and each one of them contains all the information for all the Business Partners that are assigned to this BP Group: 

  1. Overview
  2. Vehicles
  3. Leads / Opportunities
  4. Complaints
  5. Revenue 

Mandatory fields

While creating a new BP Group, in the pop-up form, the fields of "Group Name" and "Type" are mandatory.

  • Group Name: is used in all drop-down lists, and grid lists that display the business partner group. 
  • Type: the group type is similar to the BP type and may take three different values (Lead, Customer, Vendor) 


Configuration 

Access to the BP Group Admin Page, is granted to the user when he has the "Business Case ID 9381" assigned to his role.
