Migration of keys for CATS-based Person Reservations

(S4)PACG 200 SP11

Due to significant enhancements in the area of CATS and Person Reservation integration (for instance, support for storing single and multi-day reservations created in FSM; support for modifying/deleting them later in SAP ECC/S4), the object’s key for CATS-based reservations must have been redesigned.

If you upgraded to (S4)PACG 200 SP11 and already used the functionality of Person Reservations based on CATS entries (Person Reservations created based on CATS entries), please execute the program /PACG/ECS_PRES_CATS_KEY_MIGR. This is necessary to avoid duplicates in FSM, in case already existing reservations were updated or deleted.

The program performs a seamless migration of keys for all the reservations sent to FSM within the specified period. For each Person Reservation once sent to FSM, meeting the criteria entered on the selection screen, a special remapping object (/PACG/ECM_OBJCONF) will be generated. It will replace the old key with a new one. The ‘Date’ criterion is by default set to 60 days in the past. You can adjust it to reflect the period in which reservations can still be edited/deleted in FSM or SAP.

If you execute the program in test mode, you will see the list of all objects relevant for migration, as well as their current and future keys:

Click the button ‘Run Migration’ to execute migration directly from the ‘Test mode’

Successful execution is communicated by logs. Remapping idocs will be generated for each relevant object key.
