‘Dispatch Monitor’ is a tool used for initial allocation of a demand arising out of Day-based appointments to a resource in the hierarchy whereas ‘Workshop Planner’ is a tool used for initial allocation of a demand arising out of Time-Based appointments to a resource in the hierarchy. Once initial allocations are planned, the dispatch monitor can be used to reallocate the demands between the resources for a particular date. Please see below explanation for the description of the process for the two flavours presented ‘Day Based’ and ‘Time Based’ demand allocations.

Allocation and reallocation of ‘Day-Based’ Appointments in Dispatch Monitor: 

The process below depicts the use of ‘Dispatch Monitor’ for initial allocation of demand arising out of Day based planning to a resource as well as reallocation of a demand to a different resource for optimal workshop setup for a given day.

  1. Access the ‘Dispatch Monitor’ application

  2. Application settings mentioned below can be considered for usability.

    1. Select the desired workshop hierarchy using the icon below highlighted (found on the top right corner)
