1.1 Assign requirement profile to a service order operation

Go to transaction IW31 to create a new service order. After filling all necessary information in the Header Data tab, go to the Operation tab. Choose your operation and click option “Internal”.

Enter the name of the requirement profile in the ‘Qualifications’ block. Release and save the service order.

An idoc of type /PACG/ECM_ITYPE_REQUIREMENT should be generated. The REQUIREMENT object connects the new activity with a tag (in this case the tag is qualification ‘Training qualification 1’).

1.2 Find matching technicians in SAP FSM

Find the newly created activity on the Planning and dispatching board. Right-click on the activity and choose “Find Matching Technician”.

You will see list of technicians displayed on the sidebar. The number of blue dots shows how suitable a technician is for the chosen activity.
