Advanced Execution Service Order - Attachments

Whole settings are dedicated to S4 systems which have relevant version for Advanced Execution process.

Attachments can be added to Corrective Maintenance Order and Preventive Maintenance Order from FSM and Fiori app as well. Additional set up is available on Service Order level in /pacg/ecm_vsctd and on Activity Level in /pacg/ecm_active.

Dedicated checkbox for MSO is placed in Service Call Types definition (cluster view) in section Attachment settings:

Copy attachment to MSO - allows to copy attachments from service call in FSM to the MSO header in Fiori app.

In General Activity Property there is extra section ‘MSO linking’ with 2 options. Only one of them can be activated at the same time:

Link FSM attachments of activity - allows for link attachment from MSO activity in FSM to the header of MSO in Fiori app.

Link FSM att. of activity to Service Order Item - allows to link attachment from MSO activity in FSM to the Service Order Item which is inside of MSO order in Fiori app.

To activate attachments it is necessary to add entries inside /PACG/ECM_CUST_ATTA in section ‘Cloud Message to SAP object mapping’. BUS2000116 - Service Order/Quotation and BUS2000192 - Service Maintenance Item must be linked to Cloud Message type and Object ID for ‘Activity’ and ‘ServiceCall’.

Advanced Execution attachments can work properly with all document types: GOS, BDS, DMS. However, only GOS or DMS can be visible on MSO in Fiori app at once. When configuration for DMS is activated, then automatically all GOS attachments are no longer visible and vice versa. More information can be found at S4HANA : Attachment Services Ways of consumption – DMS and GOS | SAP Blogs.
