Master data in the application consists of:
Storage bin with relevant item types
Transaction: /DBME/SGM_USER
Select in the menu following entry:

Usage
The customer must define the storage bins and relevant item types in the system.
Vehicle Goods Manager storage is based on following structure:
Structure of storage
Plant represents standard SAP MM Plant configuration.
Storage locations are customer defined locations in the configuration of VGM.
By selecting the plant and storage location customer can add:
- The list of storage bins
Storage bin definition
- And relevant for storage item types
Item types assignment
- Item types are defined in configuration and the list of defined item types is available as a search help for the user:
