Additional Items or Services

To support the sales activity and increase profitability, additional items or services can be offered to
the customers on top of the vehicle model price. These additional items or services will be created in VSS. Salesperson will then be able to select the relevant additional items or services in DSW when preparing the offer to the customers. This ensures a synchronized and similar data representation between both applications.
Prerequisites
Before sending the additional items or services to DSW, you must ensure the following:
Technical connection has been established between VSS and DSW
Additional items or services has been created and maintained in VSS
DSW item group has been configured in VSS
(Customizing under Vehicle Sales & Services > Vehicle Sales > Integration with VSS Order > Digital Sales Workplace (DSW) > Define Item Group)

Create and maintain additional items or services in VSS.
Access transaction code /DBE/ODL_ITEM_DIST to send additional items or services to DSW. A background job can be created to schedule the transmission to DSW based on a predefined timing and interval.
