Message Broker Restart

Message broker 3.5

‘Restart Connector’ button actually only causes message broker to STOP. Starting part of restart is handled by operating system in which message broker operates that’s why it particularly important that a message broker service was set up in such way that it can start automatically after if was unexpectedly stopped. Otherwise clicking ‘Restart Connector’ in FSM Admin will actually only make it stop.

For instance Windows service startup type must be set to 'Automatic'

Message Broker 3.5 brings the possibility of remote restart - using functionality of FSM Admin Portal. To do that:

  1. Login to FSM Admin Portal

  2. Select company using the message broker that needs to be restarted

  3. Then navigate to the ERP Connector section

  4. Press ‘Restart Connector’ button

  5. System askes then for additional confirmation and if operation got confirmed and executed following message should be displayed

‘RESTART CONNECTOR’ button is available only for users who have ‘SUPERUSER’ role assigned in FSM
