“Standard Settings” (Scheduled Dates Allocation)

For this example the standard settings of SAP and connector customizing are used:

  • SAP Scheduling Parameters

  • Service call type definition (/PACG/ECM_SCTD)

The following work center capacities are used:
• Start 07:00:00
• Finish 16:30:00
• Length of breaks 00:30:00
• Operating time 9,00

1.1  Order Creation (SAP Backend-Scheduling)

The creation date is the 09.02.2021 and the duration is two hours.

Because the simple “forward” scheduling is used, the earliest start date will be the start of the shift (07:00:00). The shift is given by the work center. Because the duration is 2/9 of the operationg time, 2/9 of the break have been added to the scheduling:

07:00:00 + 2 Hours + 2/9 x 0,5 Hours = 09:06:40

Because the work duration can be done within the operating time of the shift, the basic end date is the same as the basic start date:

1.2 Planning and Dispatching

When transferring the service order to the cloud, the service call will have the same “start and end” date as the service order has.
Because of the missing time on header level, the “due date” of the service call will be the end of the day:

According to the customizing, the planned start and end date of the activity are in line with the service call:
