Activity dispatching

This subsection serves as a high-level overview of selected FSM Cloud Connector customizing steps for activity dispatching/release and its consequences in SAP ECC/S4. For more detailed descriptions, navigate to links included in each step.

Activities released to technicians in FSM update personnel number in the related operation. Operation dates are also updated, as described here: Activity/service call dates mapping (SAP ⇿ FSM) | FSM → SAP.

Customizing transaction

Maintain dispatching-related customizing for the relevant order types, e.g. if an activity should be directly dispatched/released on the FSM planning board after service order release in SAP ECC/S4 or which user status should be set to operation after activity assignment in FSM.

Determine how the operation’s control key should change after activity assignment to an internal or external (subcontractor) technician
