Process Status for VSS Orders
This function aggregates the status information for the various levels of a VSS order, that is, order headers, jobs, tasks, splits, and items. The process status is the aggregated status for each level. You use the process status to get an overview of the VSS order, for example to view the overall status of the order.
Prerequisites
Your Customizing settings specify how the system determines the process status. We deliver predefined Customizing settings that you can use, but you can also specify how the system determines the process status. To define your own process status, and to specify how the system determines a process status, see Customizing for Vehicle Sales and Service (VSS) under Order > Order Control > Process Status.
Features
The system automatically determines the process status for each level when the status of an object control framework action is changed.
If you change the Customizing settings, the system does not update any existing orders in the system. You can use the report /DBE/R_ORD_HSTAT_UPD to redetermine the process status for these orders.
