RESERVED MATERIALS for WBS element integration
Reserved materials can be created for WBS service calls and activities.
- 1 Supported scenarios
- 2 Activity/service call level reservations
- 3 Prerequisites
- 4 MB21 reservation (reservation on technician’s storage location)
- 4.1 Activity level
- 4.2 Service call level
- 5 DC reserved material
- 5.1 Activity level
- 5.2 Service call level
- 6 MM reserved material
- 6.1 Activity level
- 6.2 Service call level
Supported scenarios
It is possible to create reserved materials, take them to own stock and use in the following scenarios:
Scenario name | Description |
---|---|
MB21 Reservation / Reservation on technician’s storage location | Create a reservation in transaction MB21, with reference to an activity or service call WBS element and using technician’s storage location. The reserved material is then automatically transferred to SAP FSM. |
DC reserved material | Create a reservation in transaction MB21, with reference to an activity or service call WBS element. Then post a goods issue for it in transaction MIGO. At this point, the reserved material is automatically transferred to SAP FSM. |
MM reserved material | Create a purchase requisition with a service call or activity WBS as account assignment, then create a stock transport purchase order based on it, finish by carrying out delivery. At this point, the reserved material is automatically transferred to SAP FSM. |

Reservations are added to table /PACG/ECM_ARMAT and a new table dedicated for WBS reservations of type ‘R’ - /PACG/ECM_WBS_RS:
Activity/service call level reservations
Reserved materials created for an activity WBS are transferred to SAP FSM as reserved materials on activity level.
Reserved materials created for a service call WBS are transferred to SAP FSM as reserved materials on service call level.
‘Book component’ feature is not supported for WBS integration. Learn more: /PACG/ECM_SCTDM – Mvmts for mat. consumption in FSM
It is however used to create material documents with reference to reservations. Learn more: MATERIAL CONSUMPTION in WBS element integration | MB21 RESERVATION (RESERVATION ON TECHNICIAN’S STORAGE LOCATION)
Prerequisites

Make sure that the field ‘ResMat Creation' (older name ‘ResMat Type’) is set to ‘From order components’ (older name 'Component at once’).

For the scenario with reservation on technician’s storage location, movement 221 must be added to transaction /PACG/ECM_IWLON - Goods Movement - send online and /PACG/ECM_RMGM:
