Test the SAP service in a web browser
Open the service URL in a web browser. Verify it opens fine. If the certificate is not signed by a trusted CA Authority (but self-signed or signed by an internal CA authority), it is fine if there is an untrusted certificate error reported. What is important at this stage is, the server responds to the request. The picture below shows the address of the SAP service:
