General purpose

Configure special stock types (for each reserved material process). It’s used to store reserved material quantities. Description is shown in the App together with reserved material.

Special Stock Type

Special stock represents a virtual stock storing reserved materials/quantities.

  • Plant reservation (or Stock) - will be used when components are entered with plants (without storage location), but no shipment has or will be carried out. Use it if reserved materials should be displayed in FSM as unshipped, before delivery is finalized. See also and .

  • MM (Purchase order) Reserved materials - use this with scenario

  • DC (Direct Consumption) Reserved materials - use this with scenario

  • (S4)PACG 200 SP05 Non-stock - Use if components added as non-stock should be displayed in a separate stock on reserved material list in FSM, otherwise ‘L' and ‘N’ components will be displayed as one combined entry (the stock used for 'Plant reservation’). Learn more:

Special Stock

Short name of special stock, this name will be visible in FSM App and in relevant IDOCs for reserved material process.

Long Description of Special Stocks

Plant

Material movements from that plant will be used for reserved material creation for a given special stock.

Storage location

Storage location of the goods issued. If not set, valid for all stock locations of the plant

WBS Element

WBS Element - A work breakdown structure (WBS) is a model of the work to be performed in a     project, WBS in this transaction: Stock information is sent also for project stock and the technician can consume items from this warehouse. 

If plant, storage location and WBS element are entered, FSM Cloud Connector sends the warehouse ID in the following format:

 

IDOC of type /PACG/ECM_ITYPE_WRHOUSE

 

Warehouse ID in the outbound idoc reflects the structure described in Functional Changes and contains the WBS element defined

Stock Type Indicator

This field allows user to choose if newly created stock will be standard or special stock type. Special stock indicator is necessary for scenario.

Transfer plant

Plant for material transfer booking. For it is important to set Transfer plant, if not process won’t work properly (setting applicable if MM scenario is implemented with two goods movement via transfer plant to final plant goods receipt)

Transfer storage location

Storage location for material transfer booking. For it is important to set Transfer storage location, if not process won’t work properly (setting applicable if MM scenario is implemented with two goods movement via transfer plant to final plant goods receipt)

Sales organization

In case of creating reserved material from sales order, it is optional setting to limit special stock creation only for chosen sales organization. Used In case of posting to a Sales order

Distribution channel

In case of creating reserved material from sales order, it is optional setting to limit special stock creation only for chosen distribution channel. Used In case of posting to a Sales order

Division

In case of creating reserved material from sales order, it is optional setting to limit special stock creation only for chosen division. Used In case of posting to a Sales order

InfiniteQ

Send fake infinite stock quantity - This setting is dedicated to virtual stocks and is relevant in case when permission setting 'Allow Booking only if available on stock' is enabled in FSM. After enabling this flag, all virtual stocks will be filled with the maximum stock amount. This way the enabled functionality enabled on the FSM side will not affect processing of materials assigned to virtual stocks.
