Message Broker and FSM Cloud Company Configuration

1.1 Message Broker Update

•        Get the existing E4C configuration file from message broker and update the message broker file with the company names for the new/updated company.

Open

•        Once the file is updated, restart the windows service.

1.2 Send the data from ECC to FSM

There are two ways to send data from ECC to FSM:

Using ‘Trigger initial synchronization’ from cloud, which request all the data from ECC. No manual interference is needed except Idoc monitoring. This step also creates a lot of Idoc depending on the business data in your ECC system.

•        The other way is manual sending from ECC, using Send option from E4C menu, in which you can control the data send to FSM and hence reduce the amount of Idoc generation.

Based on your time/availability you can use either of them.

1.3 FSM Cloud settings for new company:

•        Download the existing configuration from the production cloud company and upload the file to the new company created using the ‘Upload’ button.

•        Download the Business Rules from existing company and upload them in the new company.

•        Download the all the relevant checklist used from the existing company and upload the checklist into new cloud company. It is applicable only if customer use checklist.

If the customers use checklist configuration, Get the template Id and version as it has to be updated in E4C configuration in the following steps:

•        Go to E4C menu, in the below path

•        Select an existing entry, click on copy button, and update the latest template Id and version from the table. Save the entry.

•        Copy an existing entry and maintain the latest checklist template and ID. Activate only the latest template entry and uncheck the other one not used.

•        In FSM cloud update the general setting in WFM.
