Vehicle Health Check
A plug-in in the technician application to carryout inspection checklist.
Prerequisites
Technician application is setup correctly.
User roles /DBE/TECHNICIAN and /DBE/TECHNICIAN_UI are assigned to the user account.
Configuration is setup correctly for Repair codes, Repair Schemas.
Checklists, checklist items are created properly as per the configuration guide.
Assign checklist items to checklists (/DBE/DAVH_LC_LICI - List Check Item)
Define measurement conditions (/DBE/DAVH_LC_MSCD - Measurement Condition)
Define wheel setup for vehicles model (/DBE/DAVH_LC_WLAM - Wheel Arrangement)
Define measurement parameters for wheels (/DBE/DAVH_LC_MSTR - Measurement Tire)
Assign packages to repair items (/DBE/DAVH_LC_PCKG - Check List Item Package) optional
Process
Open Technician application from FIORI Launchpad
Select the order subject for inspection from the list.
Click on Health Check
Select the check list category from the list Example Pre-Service
Fill in checklist results for each checklist category, mandatory items will be highlighted in red.
Select repair action for items that need to be fixed.
Once a repair action is selected, checklist item description changes accordingly.
Attach a video/audio to the check item by clicking on the camera button
and choose Record Audio or Record Video
For Tire information checklist, fill in tire conditions, Tread Depth, and any other relevant check item by clicking on the wheel image
It is possible to apply same tire brand, type, and dimensions to all the tires on the same Axle by filling on these details for a single tire then choosing Apply to function
Upon the completion of all mandatory items in the checklist category, confirm the checklist
Once the pre-checks are confirmed, additional jobs with the selected repair actions are added to the repair order, if these repair actions are mapped with package IDs, packages are assigned automatically to the additional job in the order.
Customer can approve/reject these additional jobs either from the customer portal or by directly contacting the service advisor.
Upon the completion of the repair, users can execute post-Service and Quality Inspection checks and put their findings.
VHC results could be viewed from the standard event VHC_LIST, same could also be configured and setup as a printout form.
Customers can also review and download VHC results from the customer portal.
Note
System will not allow to confirm the checklist if any mandatory check item is left with no results.
Checklist result doesn’t have an impact on the order flow, changing the flow requires custom logic to be implemented.
