Warranty Catalog

You use this function to specify data for a warranty claim. Service performed under warranty cannot be invoiced to the customer. You create a warranty claim to request reimbursement from the OEM. For the warranty claim, the OEM requires additional information such as the main defect code, and the cause code. The OEM uses this data for warranty claim validation and approval. The OEM provides a predefined warranty catalog and code structure that you can use when creating a warranty claim. Integration

Warranty catalogs are integrated into the warranty claim, which is triggered from the VSS service order. The service advisor enters the main defect code, the cause code and the symptom code.
