Customizing prerequisites for crowd

FSM crowd setup

Make sure to follow all the steps described in the official SAP FSM documentation:

To ensure data consistency and accuracy of the Countries and States entered in the crowd partner invitation form, please enable the following company setting:

SAP.FSM.Crowd.PartnerRegistration.enableCountryAndStateDto

If enabled, the country and state information will be taken from existing Country and State DTO objects.

Default BP/vendor properties

Note that Crowd Partners can be created in SAP ECC/S4 as both vendors, and Business Partners. Learn more: /PACG/ECM_VENKG - Allowed Vendor account group

The account group, crowd class/characteristic and other properties from an entry marked as “Create default” in /PACG/ECM_VENKG - Allowed Vendor account group will be used for creation of a new vendor based on crowd partner.

Make sure that the maintained account groups are assigned proper number ranges - preferably internal.

In transaction /PACG/ECM_VENDDF - Default values for vendor creation you can maintain default values for new vendors:

Default values such as personnel area or subarea are derived from transaction /PACG/ECM_USDEF - User - default values.
