Send equipment structure when transferring a service order to SAP FSM
The diagram below demonstrates the process of automatic sending of equipment hierarchy master data for equipments entered in the service order header or object list, triggered when transferring a service order to SAP FSM.
Make sure the ‘Equip. ServOrd’ and ‘Send sub hier’ fields are set in transaction /PACG/ECM_EQ1.
To limit the number of sent objects, verify also the setting /PACG/ECM_SCG - Service call general settings | Max.No.Equi/FL.
Add an equipment to the service order’s header in transaction IW32.
Keep in mind the structure of the equipment meant to be sent.
Navigate to transaction /PACG/ECM_SCALL and enter the number of a service order to be sent.
After executing, apart from standard service call-related idocs, four outbound equipment idocs are generated (also address or item, if relevant). The number of transferred equipments corresponds to the number of top-down structure elements of the sent object (in this case equipment had three sub-objects).
