Create FSM Companies

Having at least a single FSM company created is a must to use Field Service Management.

Create FSM Company with FSM Admin Portal

Currently, recommended way of creating FSM companies.

  1. After logging in to FSM Admin portal, navigate to Companies section and press Create button

2. Pressing ‘Create' button will lead to the ‘Create Company’ screen - here enter a name for the new company and set its type to ERP (doing so reveals two additional input fields). In order to create a new company following information must be included:

  • Name - this in fact is a FSM Company Id which is then required, among the other, by the message broker configuration

  • Description - this is an obligatory field. Keeping it empty may cause transporter issues.

  • Type - type of configuration associated with the company, as mentioned above must be set to ERP in case of companies which are supposed to be integrated with one of the following ERP systems: SAP Business One or SAP ECC or S/4HANA.

  • Connector Type - defined type of connector which will be used for integration. In case of Proaxia FSM Connector this must be se to PROAXIA_CON_ERP_SAP_ECC

  • Connector Version - this property defines minimum client version (message broker version in case of Proaxia connector) which is permitted to connect to FSM. Information on connector’s version currently used is displayed in FSM Admin Portal in companies' list together with the name of used connector type (in the brackets).

As of Message Broker version 3.5 it sends its internal version to FSM instead of configuration property ConnectorVersion. To learn more check Message Broker versions matrix and 3.X - Message Broker application config file

3. Last step is saving filled form by pressing ‘Save’ button

The opened screen consists of the list of existing companies and two buttons:

  • Delete selected - with button in turn, it is possible to remove company in FSM. User must select a company which is about to be deleted and press this button. Application will ask for confirmation and will continue with deletion if decision was positive
