Automatically dispatch/release activity

Automatically dispatch/release activity

Starting from the Release 2108 there are three different options related to the assignment action:

  • Release

  • Plan

  • No assignment/release

If the Release option is chosen and the technician is assigned to the activity in SAP the activity will be automatically released to the technician in SAP FSM. Please note that the value of the UDF COR_CLOUD_AssgPlan UDF in outbound activity idoc is equal to ‘RELEASE’

If the option is set to Plan and technician is linked to the activity, then the activity will be assigned to the technician on the planning board but it will not be automatically released. In such a case the value of the UDF COR_CLOUD_AssgPlan UDF in outbound activity idoc is equal to ‘ADD’

If the option is set to No assignment/release then the assignment created in SAP will be disregarded and the activity will appear on the list below the planning board. In such a case the value of the UDF COR_CLOUD_AssgPlan UDF in outbound activity idoc is equal to ‘NONE’

Please note that activities assigned to crowd technicians (users with crowd type set in one of user maintenance transactions) will be always transferred with UDF value ‘ADD’ . Such activities can be found on the Planning Board but must be released manually by the Dispatcher.
