DASA - General Settings

This section describes in general, the requirement in setting up the VSS Service Advisor Dashboard. You are required to go through these settings before you execute the application.
Prerequisites
To setup the VSS Service Advisor Dashboard on your system, there are some preconditions required:
Refer to the chapter Dashboards in the VSS Configuration Guide for detail on how to setup Service Advisor Dashboard.
To get more technical details, please see the document Installation Guide for the latest version of VSS.
The VSS add-on is installed on the target system.
SAP VSS processes are already configured.
OData services activation
The Service Advisor Dashboard uses OData services. Before all functionalities can be used, these OData services must be activated on the target system. Depending on the system landscape, services must be activated on the frontend server (separate frontend hub scenario) or in the backend system (embedded scenario). Please validate the following services and activate them (if not already active):

PFCG Role
The Service Advisor Dashboard delivers a couple of predefined PFCG roles, that can be used directly or as template to enable various parts of this functionality. Following roles are available:
Customizing and Application Settings
With the introduction of the DASA in VSS 5.0, the VSS SPRO customizing menu tree is updated with the “Dashboards” customizing menu.
Transaction code: /DBE/SPRO
Path: In Customizing for Logistics Execution, choose Vehicle Sales and Service (VSS) > Dashboards.
In addition to the customizing, a new menu tree is also added to the SAP Easy Access menu tree for DASA related master data maintenance and application settings.
Path: SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics > Logistics Execution > Vehicle Sales and Service > Master Data > Dashboards.
