1. Date Selection and Filters
Dispatch monitor is based on a day based view. The users can here choose the date for which they wants to dispatch the work as well time (for time based allocations).
Furthermore, the users can apply filter, do see only specific demands to be dispatched in content section or to limit the resources they want to see in the resources section. All Filters but date and time can be saved and applied as default selection.
2. Resources and Hierarchy Selection
Section shows the resources currently available for dispatching. In the upper right corner the users have the possibility to switch to other SRS hierarchies they are assigned to and reload the screen.
In addition, for all resources, their remaining capacity is displayed. The resources are SRS resources so the capacity is always kept in sync between the SRS Workshop-Planner and the Dispatch Monitor.
Resource groups are highlighted with blue, SRS team with yellow and standard resources with grey. Whenever an allocation is changed the capacity is getting updated.
3. Demands and allocations
In this section the actual (re-) allocation from demands to resources happens. This is done via drag and drop, see section Functionalities and Process for details. An allocation triggers the same functionality like a manual reallocation in the SRS WPL. With every change, the capacity of the affected resources is getting updated.
The colour of allocated duration shows their priority. The values and colour can be adjusted in the customizing.
The demand data displayed on the right side can be influenced using a BAdI.
