Overview for VSS Orders
In the overview, you can display an overview of your VSS order with all its jobs and items. In addition, you can call an order worklist with orders you need to process and you can execute various events. The overview comprises the following areas:
- Order Overview
- Split Overview
- Order Worklist
- Personal Settings
Prerequisites
- In Customizing for Vehicle Sales and Service (VSS) under Framework Components > Object Control Framework - Event Schema, you have defined which events can be executed in the overview.
- In Customizing for Vehicle Sales and Service (VSS) under Order > User Interface Control > Order Layout > Subscreen > Define Subscreen, you have made sure that the screen types have been defined. This setting is necessary to be able to double-click an entry in the overview and have the system call the corresponding tab page in the VSS order.
Features
In the Order Overview and the Split Overview, which are on the left-hand side of the screen, the system displays a tree structure with the VSS order and its Jobs, Tasks, Items, and Splits. The system also displays the process status, split indicator, gross value, and net value. On the right-hand side of the screen, you see the VSS order with the various tab pages.
In the overview, if you double-click the document header or on a job, task, item, or split, the system switches to the corresponding tab page on the right-hand side of the screen. This also applies for jobs, tasks, and splits.
Example
The following sections describe additional features of each area:
Order Overview
In the order overview, you can execute events for the order header, jobs, tasks, and items by selecting the appropriate node (order header, job, task, or item), clicking the right mouse button, and choosing an event from the context menu.
Split Overview
In the split overview, the system lists all the splits created in the VSS order with their jobs and items. This overview is helpful when doing preparations for billing. You can execute events for splits by selecting a split, clicking the right mouse button, and choosing an event from the context menu.
Order Worklist
The order worklist shows all the VSS orders that meet specific selection criteria. You first choose a selection variant that you created in the order search (see Order Search) in transaction Order Processing (/DBE/ORDER). If you have chosen a default selection variant in Order Processing under Environment > User Parameters and selected the Initial checkbox, the system automatically uses this variant.
The selection variant My Orders lists all the VSS orders for which you are the processor, meaning your user name is entered in the Accepted by field of the document header. You can call up a list of today's orders or the orders of the current week or current month.
Personal Settings
In the personal settings, you can define if the overview is on or off by default and how wide the screen area should be. The system stores your settings in the user parameters.
Activities
To call the overview, choose the Overview On pushbutton in the transactions for changing and displaying orders.
