Usage
Here a sales action is defined, described and determined for the usage in MSA application. Sales actions are shown on dedicated screen of MSA in multiline form (more than one sales action can be displayed on the screen).
Sales action screen basic information:
- No backward compatibility is foreseen. Existing customers will start using new screen design. If there’s only one action defined it will be shown on the list (instead of full-screen)
- Sales action line height is dynamically adjusted to the content (depending on the picture height or sales action text length)
- Sales action picture limitations:
- Picture placeholder does not have limited height
- Picture placeholder has a predefined width
- Pictures wider than predefined placeholder is automatically down-scaled
- Pictures smaller than predefined placeholder are not upscaled
- Pictures narrower than predefined placeholder are automatically centered within placeholder
- Price entered manually for the sales action has only informative role. It is displayed on the sales action screen in the application, but it is not transferred to the SAP system along with order data.
Here the Business Users who have access to maintain this table, can add content to a Sales Action. Furthermore it would be possible to assign standard or non standard Packages to a Sales Campaign.

Action head. descr. | The description which is displayed as a Title of the special offer’s screen in the MSA. Header description is language dependent and can be translated via Goto ->Translation menu |
Action job description | The description transmitted as a job do VSS order if the customer decided to take the offer. Job description is language dependent and can be translated via Goto ->Translation menu |
Sales action picture path | Set the file name for the desired picture. The picture should be saved in the same Resource folder as the 3D Model Pictures. Each picture has limited width. |
Sales action text | Assigns the sales action text to the sales action. Text can be created/edited through standard SAP transaction SO10. |
Net Price | Sales Action Price, visible in the MSA. Manually defined – information purposes only. Price is not transferred to SAP VSS. |
Currency | Sales Action price currency, visible in MSA. |
Package Identification | Package identifier (created with T.Code /DBE/PACKAGE) assigned to a Sales Action. |
StPac | Standard Package identifier. Flag must be set when standard VSS packages are used. |
Each Sales Action must be assigned to a Screen. Screen Definition is a Customizing activity and is usually performed by the IT Department.
